The 2018 Jerry Jarvis local honourees for Montserrat have been announced. Each December during the Jerry Jarvis Awards show, several Montserratians are presented awards in recognition of their work in helping to uplift the community.
This year the names of the three individuals to be honoured are:
Radio Personality: Basil Chambers for his contribution to the Meals on Wheels Charity
Mr Tony Allen: Pastor and Educator
Mr Ozzie Carty: Community work helping the aged and the youthsÂ
The venue for the 2018 Jerry Jarvis Awards will be the Brades Arts and Education Center on Montserrat, to be held on December 28th, starting at 6:00PM.
MNI Media congratulates all the nominees, and also Mr Jerry Jarvis for his work in honouring Montserrat's local community heroes.
