Latin percussionist and band leader Tito Puente Jr, Reggae superstar Barrington Levy, Grammy nominee and former Kool & The Gang lead singer James JT Taylor, noted blues and jazz musician Kenny Neal, Grammy Award-Winning Benin singer Angelique Kidjo, and popular Guadeloupean artist G’NY are among the ten performers who will grace the stages across four venues at this year’s event.

The 15th Annual Terre de Blues Music Festival has announced a stellar line-up of internationally acclaimed music artists, scheduled to be held June 6-9, 2014 on the authentic Caribbean island paradise of Marie-Galante in Guadeloupe Islands.

Terre de Blues, the premier summer musical event of the French-Caribbean calendar, fuses international and regional music with Guadeloupean music and art for an exhilarating presentation that appeals to patrons of all ages. The 2014 four-day festival, themed “Learning and Sharing Culture”, invites music and culture enthusiasts to experience the rhythm of Blues, Funk, Reggae, Salsa and Zouk as well as rich local traditions in music, art and dance.

The 15th Annual Terre de Blues Music Festival is organized by the Marie-Galante Community of Municipalities and the Marie-Galante Tourist Board in partnership with the Guadeloupe Islands Tourist Board. This year’s event will honor Alphone Siroy, noted and dedicated supporter of Cycling, a major sporting activity in Guadeloupe Islands.

Closing ceremony, hosted by the iconic Fanswa Ladrezeau, for the master class of elementary school students studying the art and techniques of Gwo-Ka, in Marie-Galante. Students will perform then receive their diploma.
