UK Prime Minister Theresa May faces a challenge to her Leadership from her Conservative colleagues.

A vote of no confidence against PM May has been triggered over what some of her conservative colleagues sees a sham of a deal she has presented over BREXIT.

The Prime Minister in response has come out fighting; vowing to fight this leadership challenge at a 'vital moment in our history'.

She further warned that a leadership challenge could derail BREXIT. She has also insisted that she would not resign.

The threshold of 48 letters delivered by Conservative Rebel MPS was reached to trigger this vote of no confidence in Mrs May.

Mrs May issued further fighting words in stating: ‘I’ve devoted myself unsparingly since I became PM and I stand ready to finish the job.’

Prime Minister May does have some strong support within her Party. UK Chancellor Philip Hammond came out in support as he tweeted: ‘The Prime Minister has worked hard in the national interest since the day she took office and will have my full support in the vote tonight.

In addition, Home Secretary Sajid Javid stated; ‘The last thing our country needs right now is a Conservative Party leadership election. Will be seen as self-indulgent and wrong. PM has my full support and is best person to ensure we leave EU on 29 March.

A secret ballot is expected to be held this evening between 6- 8pm, with the results to be announced shortly thereafter.
