British Minister for Overseas Territories, Mr James Duddridge, To Visit Montserrat

The Minister for the Overseas Territories at the Foreign & Commonwealth Office in London, Mr James Duddridge MP, will visit Montserrat on Thursday 9 October 2014. This will be the Minister’s first visit to the Caribbean in his current role, where he is also visiting Barbados and the British Virgin Islands.

While in Montserrat, Mr Duddridge will meet the Premier, Hon Donaldson Romeo, and his Ministerial team; see the developments in Little Bay and Carr’s Bay; visit the Montserrat Volcano Observatory (MVO); take a helicopter flight over the volcano and the rest of the island and have a presentation on the island’s Mountain Chicken project. He will complete his visit with a joint press conference with the Premier at the Hilltop Café.
