The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama`at Canada denounces the act of Anti-Semitism that took place in Toronto earlier this week. It was reported that several units in a North York apartment building were damaged and vandalized with offensive slurs placed on their doors.

With the rise of hate crimes against different communities, it is imperative for Canadians to come together in unity to condemn such actions and uphold the Canadian values of acceptance and multiculturalism.

“Faith communities should stand in solidarity with each other, especially when such actions take place,” says Mr. Lal Khan Malik, National President of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama`at Canada. “Similar to how the Jewish Community came to support Muslims during recent hate crimes against Muslims, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama`at stands in solidarity with the Jewish Community and offers its support during this difficult time.”

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama`at strives to spread its motto of “Love for All, Hatred for None.”
