Caribscan has released an expanded list of activities to promote International World Heart Day and Breast Cancer Awareness Month for 2012.

Sonographer Sonia Charles, who heads Caribscan said she was very pleased to be hosting events for the fourth straight year to bring attention to the need of women on island to care for their breast health and also to highlight other areas that the public need to pay attention to.

On Saturday September 29 at 6:30am, trail guide James 'Scriber' Daley will lead the Pink Ribbon Challenge Hike through the 'Oriole Walkway'. Participants are asked to meet at Hilltop. Later that evening at 7pm, the 3rd Annual Pink Ribbon Walk for Breast Cancer Awareness, which supports the Mammogram Fund will start at the Look Out Community Centre and end at The Lyme in Brades.

Caribscan will be partnering with ZJB Radio Montserrat to host a Radiothon from 11am to 4pm on Saturday, September 29 to raise funds for the Mammogram Fund. This fund has helped more than 50 women obtain mammograms on Antigua, as Montserrat does not yet offer the service.
