TORONTO, Ont. — For a quarter century, Castrol and the Canadian International AutoShow have been working together to showcase the potential power and performance of the automobile.

That partnership is presented in one of the most popular destinations within the AutoShow — Castrol Alley. Truly a showcase of what the car is and can be, Castrol Alley annually hosts some of the most unique vehicles to be found at the AutoShow, and 2020 will prove to be no different.

“Castrol is excited to be partnered again with the AutoShow, continuing our longstanding sponsorship,” says Marsha McLaughlin, Castrol Marketing Manager. “Our brand’s heritage is technology leadership, automotive passion and performance which aligns perfectly with the show’s vision every year.”

Filling out this year’s Castrol Alley lineup:

  • Cobble Beach Classics— The anchor of Castrol Alley, Cobble Beach Classics showcases rare collector cars from days gone by, all painstakingly restored and cared for. This year’s exhibit is titled The Disputors, displaying cars that shook up the automotive world. The centerpiece is the 1959 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray concept.

  • OBLIVION Car Show — Where Cobble Beach shines a light on the classics, OBLIVION brings to the stage the “new” classics. Cars of the 1980s and ‘90s are the next generation of collector cars, and OBLIVION not only celebrates the cars, but the entire pop culture of the last two decades of the 20thcentury, including some items of nostalgia and full 1980s-style arcade.

  • RC Test Track — Bringing the off-roading indoors, Big Boys with Cool Toys is setting up a full test track for their toughest off-road RC vehicles. Test your mettle around tight turns and off jumping hills.

  • Toys“R”Us Test Drive Experience — Cars aren’t just for the adults. With Toys“R”Us, the little ones can take a toodle around a 1,000-square-foot mock track in battery-powered miniature models of popular vehicles you are likely to find on the AutoShow’s main exhibit halls, including versions of a BMW M8, Ford F-150 and MINI Cooper.

As the longest-serving title sponsors of the AutoShow, Castrol is also a proud supporter of Auto Exotica — a collection of some of the most exotic and valuable vehicles in the world — and the Media Preview Day Tour.
