Cable News Network, CNN, have filed a lawsuit against the Trump administration, demanding that their White House Correspondent Jim Acosta’s press credentials be reinstated.

CNN's lawsuit was filed Tuesday, November 13th, in a Washington, D.C., District Court. In the Lawsuit, CNN claims "the revocation of Acosta’s press pass violates the constitutional rights to freedom on the press and due process."

There has been recent controversy between the Trump Administration and CNN, after the network's Jim Acosta's press credentials, being described as a 'hard pass" were revoked by the Trump Administration last week following an inflamed press conference at the White House.

During that press conference Acosta refused to hand over a microphone he was using to ask questions when President Trump asked him to sit down and hand over the mike.

CNN is owned by Turner Broadcasting System, a division of AT&T's WarnerMedia.
