Music Shells is a Lifestyle Entertainment Television Program that delivers an authentic Barbadian experience. Conceptualized and hosted by Barbadian award winning singer songwriter David Kirton, each 40 minute program will feature an International Artist who will perform with Kirton’s band in his home, a traditional, colorfully decorated wall house built by his Grandfather. Live performances are the cornerstone of the program. Kirton realized that performers treasure musical moments and opportunities to be at their creative best in a unique fun setting while fans worldwide seek close and personal experiences with Musicians and Artists they find interesting, Music Shells creates that opportunity. Atter a lively music jam, Kirton takes the guest and viewer on a journey, experiencing Barbados thru the eyes of an artist, visiting places that influenced him, highlight the poetic nature of our island and unique aspects of Barbados’s vibrant tourism, food and Rum industry. Barbadian musicians, comedians, visual arts, authors, poets, actors, dancers, celebrities and fashion leaders will be featured over the season.

Season One guests include Actor / Musician Gary Dourdan known for CSI and Alien Resurrection, Ghana Reggae Star, Grammy nominated Rocky Dawuni and one of the first black SuperModels, Actor, singer and model Shari Belafonte.

Music Shells, distributed by Caribbean Media Corporation (CMC). CaribVision a 24/7 cable channel. CaribVision airs in over 22 Caribbean territories, the USA (New York Tri-State Area: New York, New Jersey and Connecticut), Ontario and Quebec in Canada and the United Kingdom. Music Shells starts filming in May and will be launched at Carifesta 2017.

Music Shells partners with regional companies who share a passion for creating International quality content and opening windows to Barbadian and Caribbean Culture. In 2015 multiple Caribbean styled programs made the top 10 cable network programs in primetime with over 18 million viewers tuned in, demonstrating the curiosity and interest in the Caribbean's unique culture.

David Kirton ( Host / Producer / Band leader ) has won multiple Barbados Music Awards and expanded his fan base to the U.S. and UK with his modern roots reggae sound. He has performed at Hollywood Bowl, Greek Theater Berkeley and Los Angeles, New Orleans Jazz Festival, Jay Leno Show, SXSW, Midem Cannes and toured with major artists such as Culture, Maxi Priest and Third World. Kirton writes his own music, plays multiple instruments and has a degree in languages. Noelle Attaway Kirton (Producer / Director) CEO Bird’s Eye Music (established 1999) manages Kirton’s career including marketing, promotion, booking, distribution. Producer Kirton’s music videos, Alison HInds, Roll it Gal video, producer MTV Tempo Launch, Barbados. While Marketing and Promotions Manager at Starcom Network she produced what was at that time the largest motorcade in Barbados History for Lil Rick and conceptualized the popular People's Monarch Competition with other senior management.

AGE Productions (Cinematographer and Editor) Animating Graphical and Editing Productions,) is a multimedia company located in Barbados owned and operated by Richard Grimes, who has an Associate Degree in Art & Graphic Design and worked at various media houses including Caribbean Broadcasting Corporation, for 3 years as a Video Editor. AGE was established in 2005.

Mr. Derek Wilkie (Consultant / Strategic Partner) Director of Operations at C2W Music Ltd , started out as production manager at West Indies Records Limited (WIRL). He went on to establish, CRS Music Ltd and COSCAP. Chairman of the Caribbean Copyright Link (CCL).
