The General Public is asked to note that the Electoral Reform Commission will be conducting a series of meetings starting from Thursday July 12 2018, for the purpose of soliciting your views on the Montserrat Electoral System. Please note that the Commission was established to:

a) Examine and review the Montserrat electoral system based on wide consultation of Montserratians;

(b) Formulate proposals for appropriate reform of the entire system, including voter registration, voter qualification, the ballot paper, constituency and the legal framework of elections.

The first meeting will be held at the Old St Peter’s School in St Peters. Residents of St Peter’s and the surrounding Communities are kindly asked to come out let your views be known.

The meeting starts promptly at 6:00 p.m., this Thursday July 12th at the Old St Peter’s School.
