Dr. Jerry Martin is the author of the book "God: An Autobiography, as Told to a Philosopher."
MNI Alive recently had a conversation with Dr Martin discussing his book and the entire concept of God and religion; looking at both their placements in today's world.
Dr Martin described himself as a one time agnostic. However, it was the voice of God itself that spoke to him and asked him to share Gods story via his book.
Dr Martin contends that America is on a downward spiral when it comes to religion. Additionally, there is new research revealing that Millennials are significantly less religious than previous generations, with only about half saying they believe in God.
According to Dr Martin, it’s time to rejuvenate the faith—by showing that belief in God does not require a religious affiliation.
“God is not limited to one culture or religion,” says Dr. Martin.
“Each belief system is a different piece of the overall puzzle, one aspect of the journey to religious fulfillment." He further stated.
Listen below to a very insightful interview as Dr Martin shares his views on God and religion and how these impact lives today.
