On Monday April 6, 2015, it was reported by this media house and also by the BBC and The Independent Newspaper, that a native from the island of Montserrat living in London, UK, was found with stab wounds to his neck near the Seventy Seven Social Club restaurant in Dalston Lane, London.

The 45-year-old man, was taken to an East London hospital where he is presently being treated.

MNI Alive Media has been following further this story, and have uncovered information from an eyewitness who was present.

According to the eyewitness, the circumstances that led to the stabbing involved what is being described as an altercation at the entrance of the club. Following this altercation, it is alleged that re-entry was refused to those involved in the altercation.

It is also alleged that a friend who was with the victim, demanded the return of the door fee for three individuals who were inside, inclusive of the victim.

It is understood that the gentleman who was eventually stabbed stepped in and assured the owner that it was ok if he did not wish to return the entrance fee that was being asking for. According to the eyewitness, there was only an exchange of words and onlookers never expected the situation to have progressed so rapidly into a near fatal situation.

It is alleged that without warning a knife was produced, and the stab wound to the neck was delivered to the victim.

Reports further, is that the friend of the victim was also chased by the assailant with the knife. Then, the assailant with the stated weapon jumped into a nearby vehicle and made his way away from the scene.

It is further alleged that the individual who delivered the stab wound was already in an agitated state having been involved in an argument earlier.

The eyewitness also informed that reports of the stabbed victim being found 100 metres away from the club is a complete falsification.
