A new funding opportunity is now available! The Community Legacy Initiatives Funding is a fund aimed at enhancing the experience of the TORONTO 2015 Pan Am/Parapan Am Games for residents and visitors. It will also advance the City of Toronto’s goals for economic development and tourism, sport development and healthy living, and resident engagement and cultural celebration.

This $885,000 fund looks to support projects that profile and provide longer-term economic and/or social benefits for Toronto’s Latin American, South American and Caribbean communities. Each funded collaborative initiative will be awarded one-time funding of $150,000 to $250,000. To apply, you must submit a brief letter of intent describing your project and its fit with this Fund. The City will short-list projects based on the letter of intent. Short-listed applicants will be invited to submit a full proposal in the spring

The deadline to apply is February 4th, 2015 – application form.
