Hurricane Gonzalo Update: ALL CLEAR Issued for the British Virgin Islands

The British Virgin Islands Tourist Board would like to announce that the hurricane and tropical storm warnings posed by Hurricane Gonzalo to the territory have been lifted, with an ALL CLEAR declared by the Department of Disaster Management and the National Emergency Operations Centre. No damage has been reported to-date.

Beef Island airport has re-opened, and LIAT, Seaborne and Cape Air flights have resumed this afternoon. Ferries have also begun resuming operations, and all beaches and national parks will re-open today, with no damage incurred.
