COVID-19 brought with it much devastation, but also opportunities for countries to thrive and advance in ways they may not have before the pandemic. Several countries now have the opportunity to re-analyse their comparative and competitive advantages. One such country that is seeking to increase and attract new investment in some of these sectors is Barbados. Invest Barbados, in collaboration with the African Diaspora Network, will be hosting a webinar to highlight the investment opportunities and advantages that Barbados provides for global companies.

About Barbados

Barbados is an eastern Caribbean island and an independent British Commonwealth nation. Bridgetown, the capital, is a cruise-ship port with colonial buildings. Around the island are beaches, botanical gardens, the Harrison’s Cave formation, and 17th-century plantation houses like St. Nicholas Abbey. Local traditions include afternoon tea and cricket, the national sport. To learn more about Barbados, click here.
