LIAT wishes to advise that all flights into and out of Dominica have been cancelled for today, Friday August 28; and tomorrow, Saturday, August 29.

The following flights for today have been re-routed to operate as follows:

FLIGHT ROUTING
LI 364: Barbados to Guadeloupe to Antigua – Operating as LI 664
LI 523: Antigua to Guadeloupe to Barbados – Operating as LI 623
LI 524: Barbados to Antigua - Operating as LI 624

Cancellations for Friday, August 28:

FLIGHT ROUTING
LI 560: Barbados to Dominica to San Juan
LI 561: San Juan to Dominica to Barbados
LI 526: Antigua to St. Kitts to Tortola to San Juan

The authorities in St. Croix have advised that the airport there will remain closed until 5:00 pm today due to the passage of Tropical Storm Erika.

Affected passengers are asked to continue to monitor the LIAT website (www.liat.com), and the LIAT Facebook and Twitter Pages; or contact the LIAT Call Centre from Antigua – 1-268-480-5582; toll free from the rest of the Caribbean – 1-888-844-5428 and from Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands – 1-866-549-5428 for information on the status of their flights.

Affected customers who wish to rebook for a later date will be allowed to do so without change fees or fare differences for a period of two weeks from the date of their original scheduled travel. Following the two-week grace period, passengers will be required to pay applicable fare and change fees when re-booking.

LIAT also wishes to advise that passengers who decide to travel but are unable to complete their journey due to disruption caused by weather conditions, will not be provided with meals, transportation, hotel accommodation etc. Passengers with onward connections are advised to contact the respective carriers.

LIAT regrets any inconvenience caused as a result of the passage of the storm.
