Ms. Shaquiella Samuel is the one of the current Clerical Officers within the Ministry of Communications, Works, Energy & Labour. Her primary responsibilities include attending to users of the MCWL accounting systems. This entails providing cashiering services and providing administrative support to the Accounts Division, and providing secretarial services to the Permanent Secretary, MCWL.
Shaquiella is just brilliant. She is polite and respectful, and appears mostly happy to perform any task given. She has proven that she can be consistent in her dealings with the public as well as other staff. She is very calm and maintains this even when attending to rowdy and loud customers. Shaqueilla does not raise her voice in return or display the common ‘attitude’.
Keen observations of Shaqueilla have revealed a calmness of spirit, not possessed by many individuals. The observations also revealed that Shaquiella communicates well, and customers and staff alike understand and appreciate her efforts. Shaqueilla is prompt in her telephone responses, and is one of the few persons who follows up, and calls back when she promises to.
Shaquiella knows her work, and can answer almost any question asked of her regarding Traffic, or administrative duties. She shows the same level of attentiveness toward both external and internal customers, effectively showing supervisors and co-workers alike that she appreciates and understands the true sentiment of professional customer service.
Shaqueilla is a gem, and gets along with all staff at the ministry. She has a great personality, and can rally her peers to do better, and improve their disposition, when work proves rough and tough. If everyone were like Shaquiella, the government service would indeed be an excellent one.
On the strength of this, Shaquiella was nominated for the Outstanding Customer Care Award.
