The photographic world is undergoing a rapid transformation in Africa: its dynamism and accessibility resonate to the four corner of the world through quality events and institutions. The Bamako Encounters, LagosPhoto, or Addis Foto Fest are important artistic platforms. With these events, the market is now structured and artists finally have the opportunity to exhibit not only internationally but also locally, in Africa.
