Pilot, Shaun Henry, Presented With a 2016 Appreciation Award From Emerald Isle Creative Vibes, New York

Shaun Henry has successfully blended a love of travel, and a passion for flying airplanes into a career as an Airline Pilot. With over 9,000 flying hours, his passion for flight is just as strong today as the day he took his first flight.

He is a graduate of the University of North Dakota where he earned a bachelor’s Degree in Air Transportation. Prior to his employment as an Airline Pilot he spent two years in Minneapolis, Minnesota as a Flight Instructor, teaching students how to master the art of flying.

Shaun is an active member of the Organization of Black Aerospace Professionals. He enjoys volunteering in their Pilots in Schools program, where he has visited Elementary, Junior High and High Schools in New York City and Atlanta, Georgia, opening students’ eyes to the opportunities available to them in the Aviation industry.
