London kept the momentum at full steam  for the third leg of the 2018 UK Diaspora Investment Promotional Tour with the St. Patrick's Co-operative Credit Union and MNI Media - Marketing, News & Information. The meeting was on Thursday, August 16th, 2018, at the Tottenham Leisure Centre.

Attendees who came out were treated to relevant and factual information on investment opportunities available with SPCCU Montserrat, presented by General Manager, Financial Analyst Peter DA Queeley. Also Mr Ken Cassell of K.J Cassell Consultants presented on Real Estate interests and property acquisition on Montserrat, whilst Jeevan Robinson presented on Aloe Montserrat Rejuvenation and Recovery Facility that is to be established on island.

The focus of the London meeting ranged from questions being posed about investment options with the SPCCU in terms of lands and home purchases, to their indemnity plans, and also very searching questions on the entire aspect of insurance of monies and property on the island.

As has been prevalent throughout all of the meetings, the SPCCU now must realise that it is being charged with a mandate by many within the Diaspora to seek a partnership with a credit union here in the UK, so that individuals can make direct transactions that link to their SPCCU accounts back on Montserrat. Many people are asking for this to be established as has been the case in Leicester, Birmingham and again last evening in London.

The key thing from these engagement meetings is that information provision is key. People do not just require random information, but they are seeking to zone in on the details with points of action being presented to them. Such was the focus in London last evening.

It was wonderful to see the level of interest towards investing on Montserrat from those residing in the London area.
