NEW YORK, United States, Friday November 28, 2014:- Barbados’ pop princess Rihanna, who recently placed fourth on Forbes magazine’s highest paid women in music list, has earned a place on another of Forbes 2014 rich lists – this time as the fifth top earning celebrity under the age of 30.

The 26-year-old singer raked in a staggering US$48 million during the 12-month period June 2013 to June 2014 analysed by the magazine for its annual Celebrity 100 list.

In addition to her music and the “Monster” tour with Eminem, the “Diamonds” star has bagged the loot from a variety of celebrity endorsements, fashion and cosmetics projects, among other lucrative sources.

While Rihanna hasn’t released an album since “Unapologetic” in 2012, word is that her eighth studio album is due to drop imminently.

Rumoured to be titled “Lost Files,” the album is said to feature a song called “Real Talk” in collaboration with the superstar’s on-again-off-again boyfriend Drake, as well as another collaboration with “Monster” rapper Eminem.

As to Forbes 2014 under 30 list, Rihanna – and everyone else – had a long way to go before attaining the dizzying heights of Justin Bieber, who at just age 20 hauled in a whopping US$80 million during the period under review.

Though the year has seen the “Baby” singer ricochet from one embarrassing incident to another, like being caught leaving a brothel in Rio, and getting busted for egging a neighbour’s house back home, the pop star is still the highest-earning entertainer under the age of 30, according to Forbes.

British boy band One Direction, with an average age of 21, followed Bieber with US$75 million, while Taylor Swift, 24, and Bruno Mars, 29, rounded off the top five with US$64 million and US$60 million respectively.

Jennifer Lawrence (“The Hunger Games,” “American Hustle” and “Silver Linings Playbook”) is the only actor in the top ten, having earned US$34 million during the review period. The 24-year-old movie star earned seventh place on Forbes list.
