Inverness, Scotland. April 5, 2016: With the May launch of British Airways’ daily direct flight from London to Inverness, gateway to the Scottish Highlands and Islands, international travellers can now explore the country’s world class mountain biking trails easier than ever before.

Award-winning mountain bike specialists H+I Adventures call Inverness home. Offering small-group, locally-guided trips in ten countries spanning the globe, Scotland remains H+I’s favourite riding destination because of its spectacular range of beginner, intermediate and expert trails punctuated by the famous rolling, heather-clad hills, big skies, great local food and drink, and of course the charming Scots themselves.

H+I Adventures has four distinct mountain bike trips in Scotland, which all begin from their quintessentially Scottish converted stable in Inverness. Departures are available throughout June, July and August, in time for the new British Airways flight from London.

H+I’s newest Scotland itinerary is a refresh of the Mountain Biking + Whisky in the Cairngorms holiday. The trip now includes a visit to Speyside Cooperage to learn about the ancient art of coopering and the importance of each cask to the finished whisky product. Ample on-the-trail skills coaching and a new ‘mini-mountain day’ helps adventurers gear up for the big Cairngorm Plateau ride where they huff and puff their way across the range to impressive viewpoints of the rugged Eastern highlands below.

H+I’s Coast-to-Coast Scotland, Tastes and Trails of Scotland and Torridon + Skye Scotland round out their Scottish Isles mountain bike offerings throughout the coming summer.
