Soca artist Scrappy teams up with Switzerland's Dj Iray (Uppressor's Prod.) & Swiss Soca Crew to bring the first ever Swiss Soca Festival. The UK based artist who has recently released his new album titled Chapter 11 is the founder of the Caribbean Music Festival branded event, an annual event that hosts various styles of music from across the Caribbean ranging from Soca, Reggae, Dancehall, Zouk and more.

Scrappy mentioned;

“When I went to Switzerland for my debut performance this year I met up with Dj Iray & Dj Trin-T - two of the founders of the Swiss Soca Crew, a movement of mostly Swiss people who are endorsing the positive aspects of Soca Music and therefore keeping the culture there alive. The hospitality and respect for the culture was amazing. I needed a reason to visit Switzerland again and the festival was a perfect reason to return. The Swiss Soca Crew has amazing love for the culture and I appreciate anyone who appreciates our music. I love the vibe they bring and it’s exactly what we need if we want to spread the culture and take soca global”

The event is scheduled to debut as a 3 day weekender starting from June 30th - July 2nd with a Launch event, a Main event and a cool down party towards the end to make it the ultimate Caribbean festival experience. The artist line up sees the likes of Scrappy, Kimba Sirzano, Natalyah, Franky Fyah (Soca Twins), Dj Iray & Dj Trin-T just to name a few with more acts to be announced.
