Spoken Word: False Facts

Spoken Word: False Facts

False fact is like that pot of gold at the rainbow tip, exposed. It's that fix in a syringe or spoon

False fact the oxymoron that we abide by
Accepting all that massages our belief even a lie
Truth interpretation and intention is but lubrication
Any story entering the media satisfies our mission
Gone are the days when facts were a necessity
Now lies are like acrobats pole vaulting truth to misery

A president of mix race ridiculed to prove his birthplace
Another on hot mike boast of groping aided to win a race
Politicians like gangs upholding rules sign by lobbyist's
Fake news hit the airwaves questionable yet we insist
Instant gratification mutes desire for dissecting story lines
Falsification is exposed fine wine dangling among the vines

False fact is like that pot of gold at the rainbow tip, exposed
It's that fix in a syringe or spoon, that powder sniff up the nose
That vulnerable one on the corner who'll do anything to get by
Or that religious fanatic eager to take their seat in the sky
Accepting those standards knowing the contrary is self lying
Massacring tomorrow's generation as daily their future is dying

Time has proven mankind's survival was always via migration
Legal or illegal life moved by interaction avoiding stagnation
When the worlds greatest democracy is hijacked by oligarchy
Scoundrels abide for party shaking its foundation that's lunacy
When false facts reeked havoc in elections, promise is in the air
Allowing Plutocracy to thrive in democracy, what the hell is fair
