Happy Fourth of July America twenty seventeen
Calling on a wondrous hope one has never seen
A Grand Canyon of governance need assembled
This vast land over two hundred years still shambled
Democracy at its best, still humanity cannot pass its test
Voted selfish egocentric maniacs saying to hell with the rest
Two sides like north and south daring and gazing at each other
Manipulating voters crushing their lives still no bother

This stalwart Grand Canyon is like an emblem to our society
Democrats and Republicans on both sides, in the middle is democracy
Like the labia they conceal the beauty the joy that is within
Confusing external voyeurs of a precipice entering the ravine
The daring river of love flows deep with pleasurable Rapids
Even for a unification or agreement is adorning swines with orchid
Health and well being of the less fortunate is wrap in fecal rhetoric
That care is served chilled on a bed of you are all moronic

Sequestered in the middle this envious beauty of arduous landscape
A kaleidoscope of colors exploring patterns with blending frontage
Bridge of unification is a wall and a repeal and replace healthcare
At the helm an aged man whining like he has a full diaper on his rear
Lowered his emperor status to a civil servant but demand no critic
In a cesspool eyed by swines and hyenas diva mentality that's hectic
For your birthday we seek not unification but offer a ferocious tweet
Justifying vengeance for the conceited, fanatic, unstable and the weak

Imagine riding for months and come upon this unimaginable divide
The beauty grasps you - the crossing is treacherous deep and wide
Danger lies within but rivers of gold is on the other side
Today politicians can't fathom your beauty it's an ascot awfully tied
Conceited racial thoughts handled with ostrich reasoning for peace
Brittle edges or maybe the hymen lay the exploration of which we fleece
It's your Birthday America stay proud get unified true and strong
In your God we trust, discuss; it's time to rectify any right that's been wrong
