Saint Lucia’s Coconut Bay Beach Resort & Spa has taken its adults-only Harmony wing facilities and amenities, and the resort’s “Two Worlds in One” design, to new heights. Fall renovations including a new pool and activities like rum tastings are just a few of the grown-up surprises in store for guests.
An expansive new pool with a whirlpool feature is now the centerpiece of the Harmony wing, bringing the number of Coconut Bay pools to five, the second exclusive to Harmony. New poolside waiter service brings signature drinks such as the Mango Tango and Splish Splash to guests lounging under the shady new cabanas and around the larger pool deck.
Mornings bring the adults-only, à la carte Harmony Breakfast, a daily special offering at the resort’s Calabash restaurant. In addition to traditional breakfast choices, menu options include classic Eggs Benedict and the decadent bananas Foster-topped Auntie Em’s Famous French Toast. Featured cocktails include an eye-opening Bloody Mary or for our Canadian guests an authentic Bloody Caesar made with real Clamato juice.
The Rums of the Caribbean Tasting is the newest adults-only activity. Coconut Bay’s rum sommelier leads guests through the rich history of the Caribbean’s signature liquor and curated tasting selection of some of Saint Lucia and the region’s best from Saint Lucia’s own Chairman’s Reserve and Admiral Rodney to Guyana’s El Dorado. Coconut Bay’s bartenders are mixing premium cocktails at the newly expanded Lobby Bar featuring a 360-degree service area, while new fire pits and a gazebo offer intimate spaces to sit back and socialize as the sun sets making this popular gathering spot hotter than ever.
The resort’s new La Luna alfresco dining area along with the Gazebo are available for private, oceanside dinners while the new Harmony Oasis Pool deck is now the romantic setting for the resort’s weekly couples dinner under the stars.
The oceanfront Kai Mer Spa received its own renewing treatment throughout its 11,000 square-foot serenity areas. Guests will continue to enjoy their favorite spa therapies like the Chocolate and Sugar Body Smoothie with local Saint Lucian ingredients exclusive to Coconut Bay.
Harmony guests will get comfortable in newly renovated Premium or Jr. Suite accommodations both with private balconies and sweeping views of Atlantic and Saint Lucia’s Maria Islands Nature Reserve. Premium room amenities include flat screen TV, a couples-only dinner invitation and a bar with a mini-fridge stocked with water, soft drinks and local beer. Additional Junior Concierge Suite amenities include robes and slippers, nightly turndown service, concierge services and a bar personalized with guests’ choice of premium liquors.
Coconut Bay’s all-inclusive Harmony rates start at $182.00 per person, per night based on double occupancy for travel January 5 through February 13, 2015 and February 21 through April 15, 2015.
