Statement: Political Grandstanding Stifles Montserrat - All Hands On Deck for True Development

Is Montserrat moving? Has all the political fighting between parties we've seen given Montserrat the real growth she deserves?

What would be your honest answer to either of the above questions?

We have tried the old way of doing things, but is may well be time for a new level of thinking and a new type of engagement to truly move the island forward.

Thoughts on the above questions pervaded my mind, and during the early morning hours, I rose and voiced the following statement as a directly spoken, unprepared appeal to the political players on island to truly put Montserrat first and bring their skills to bare in a show of unity towards growth and development.
