According to the results of the Cleaning Habits Study—a national survey of 2,000 Americans conducted by bObsweep in conjunction with Learndipity Data Insights—women still seem to spend more time cleaning than their partners. And once they hit 25, women are 3x more likely to house clean than their spouses.
However, close to 40% of men said they would clean more regularly if it didn't take so much time.
Other notable findings from the study include:
>> 1. PEOPLE FEEL HAPPIER AND IN A BETTER MOOD WHEN THEIR HOMES ARE CLEAN:
* Women: 74.6%
* Men: 66.6%
>> 2. A QUARTER OF ALL AMERICANS SEE HOUSE CLEANING AS A BIG SOURCE OF STRESS:
* Women: 25.3%
* Men: 25.7%
>> 3. AND A FAIR NUMBER WISH THEIR PARTNER WOULD CONTRIBUTE MORE TO HOME CLEANING:
* Women: 23.5%
* Men: 18.7%
