Since the onset of the pandemic, sales of plant-based foods have risen as meat sales are down for the first time in six years, according to industry sources. With the rise of the pandemic affecting mostly black and brown people, there has been a spike in immune supporting health practices and adding more plant-based foods to their diets.

Lucy is a past President of the American Society of Magazine Editors, a co-author of The Nine Rooms of Happiness, a New York Times bestseller, and The Drop 10 Diet Book and The Drop 10 Diet Cookbook. Danziger has been eating plant-based publication, The Beet, to 2 millions unique users within six months of launching in January.
