U.S President Donald Trump

Spanish language network Telemundo today announced that it will air U.S President Donald Trump’s first exclusive sit-down interview with a Spanish-language television network during his presidency on Thursday, June 20 at 11 PM ET/10 CT/7 PT.

Telemundo's anchor José Díaz-Balart will conduct the long-awaited conversation, in which Trump will set a new precedent for his administration by sitting down to talk with a journalist who serves the Latino audience.

The interview will air one week before the first debate between the would-be Democratic presidential candidates, which will be broadcast exclusively on Telemundo, in partnership with NBC News and MSNBC, on Wednesday, June 26 and Thursday, June 27 at 9 PM/8 CT, consolidating Telemundo’s leadership in covering the 2020 electoral cycle.
