Immigration At London Heathrow A Barrier To Entry

Twelve weeks before the Olympics begin—and bring with them a further surge through the arrivals halls—it seems Britain's border agency, UKBA, is struggling to cope with the number of passengers landing at peak times at Britain's biggest airport. People are regularly waiting up to two hours to pass through immigration. And on Saturday BAA, which owns Heathrow (but is not responsible for immigration), duly resorted to handing out leaflets apologising for the situation and suggesting that passengers complain to the Home Office.

Caribbean Export Reveals Plans For London 2012

British Police Face Charges Of Racism Against Black Man

scotland yardBritain’s Scotland Yard police service is facing charges of racism following recordings of police officers racially abusing a black man in custody during the London riots last summer.  The UK’s Guardian Newspaper received a copy of the recording in which police officers can be heard saying to the black man, "The problem with you is you will always be a nigger".
