Born in the beautiful Caribbean Nature Island of Dominica, Celia Sorhaindo is a freelance photographer and writer who lived many years in the UK, returning to Dominica in 2005.
Awestruck by the amazing colours, light and vibrant life of the island, she began taking photographs in 2006 and hasn't stopped since.
She is co-compiler of Home Again - Stories of Migration and Return, published by Papillote Press and former editor of the annual Dominica Food and Drink Guide magazine and Dominica section on the Caribbean Homes & Lifestyle magazine.
A passionate advocate of Caribbean arts, culture and sustainable development, she loves hiking, exploring and sharing images and words of the richness of life here in the Caribbean.
Her photographs have been published in several local, regional and international magazines.
