The Anguilla Tourist Board (ATB) is pleased to announce that Anguilla once again features prominently on the Travel+Leisure 2022 World’s Best Awards Lists. Anguilla is ranked No. 3 on the Top 25 Islands in the Caribbean, Bermuda, and the Bahamas list; and was voted No. 21 on the Top 25 Islands in the World list.
Three Anguillian resorts claimed spots on the Top 25 Resort Hotels in the Caribbean, Bermuda, and The Bahamas List: Four Seasons Resort & Residences Anguilla on Barnes Bay; Cap Juluca, A Belmond Hotel on Maundays Bay; and Frangipani Beach Resort on Meads Bay.
“We are proud that Anguilla has consistently earned her place on this prestigious list over the years, which speaks not only to the excellence of our tourism product, but also to the exceptional levels of service we provide to our guests,” stated the Hon. Minister of Tourism for Anguilla, Mr. Haydn Hughes. “We are enjoying robust visitor arrivals, welcoming both new and repeat travelers who come to Anguilla to bask on our beaches, renew long-standing friendships, and enjoy the culinary, cultural, adventure and wellness experiences that make our island unique.”
“We are delighted that Anguilla continues to be identified as one of the Top 25 Islands in the World by the discerning travelers who know us best,” said Stacey Liburd, ATB Director of Tourism. “It represents a strong vote of confidence to our travel partners and to consumers who are considering where to go for their next amazing vacation. We congratulate the management and staff of the resorts, and we thank the people of Anguilla, whose legendary hospitality has once again been recognized.”
Each year, for the past 27 years, Travel + Leisure — the largest travel media brand in the United States — asks readers to weigh in on their travel experiences around the globe. Hundreds of thousands reflected on recent journeys and shared their opinions on the top cities, islands, hotels, resorts, spas, national parks, outfitters, airlines, cruise lines, and more. Hotels are rated on their facilities, location, service, food, and overall value. Islands are rated according to their activities and sights, natural attractions and beaches, food, friendliness, and overall value.
