I recently had the opportunity to speak with newly published author, Beverley Bramble-Fenton, about her new book entitled 'Through Other Eyes'.

Beverley is very excited about the release of her book as it has been a project in the works for quite some time, she informs MNI Alive. Through Other Eyes is acompilation of short stories which Beverley tells us are each fictional renderingsof a Bible story. Some of the stories included in Beverley's book include:-

"Special Delivery" is the story, found in Exodus 1, told by Puah who delivered Moses, from her deathbead. Why didn't those Hebrew midwives kill all those little boys as Pharaoh had commanded? Which delivery was truly special?

One brother took all of his inheritance, left home and squandered it, but which brother was really prodigal? This is explored in "Prodigal."

In Genesis 16 to 21, we read the story of Hagar. Another of Abraham's servants tells Hagar's story in "Handmaid." Handmaid, mistress or wife? What was Hagar's true position?
