British Chevening Scholarship Applications Now Open For Caribbean Nationals

The British High Commission in Bridgetown announces the opening of the British Chevening scholarship scheme for the academic year 2012-2013.

Applications are now being accepted online from nationals of Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean who wish to pursue fully funded postgraduate studies at an academic institution in the UK.

The Chevening programme has, over 27 years, provided more than 30,000 Scholarships at Higher Education Institutions in the UK for postgraduate students or researchers from countries across the world. Chevening scholarships are prestigious and sought after awards aimed at extremely capable individuals who have already made an impact and are motivated to pursue a career that will take them to a position of leadership within their own country.
