Projects Abroad has partnered with Peru’s Ministry of Education to give just 10 volunteers unique access to their English language teacher training.

You’ll be supporting the Ministry to improve the English language skills of teachers in Peru, which will leave a meaningful impact on their education system and local children.

Sound good? You don’t need experience, just a passion for teaching.

  • Training takes place from January 7 to 13 2024, in Cusco. Attend for the whole week, or a minimum of three days;
  • Followed by 2 to 4 weeks of training local teachers to improve their English language skills.

  • Only 10 places available. Places will go quickly, book now to take advantage of this incredible experience.

Here’s what to expect:

  • Use and develop your own teaching skills to boost teaching capacity in Peru

  • Improve the English language skills of local teachers and share teaching techniques

  • Get fully immersed in Peruvian society by working with local teachers

  • Explore Cusco, the ancient capital city of the mighty Incas and a UNESCO World Heritage site

  • Leave a meaningful impact on teachers and local children

At the end of training, local teachers receive a certificate from Peru’s Ministry of Education, which has become mandatory in recent years.

This is also the first training to take place since the pandemic, so participant numbers are expected to be higher than usual.

As a consequence, teachers will be gathering from all over the country to get help from volunteers just like you.

With higher numbers than normal, you’ll be making a vital contribution to the success of this training.

This is one of our most rewarding projects. Don’t miss your opportunity to be one of our lucky 10 volunteer teachers. Apply today!
