Canada’s largest multicultural festival celebrates its 35th anniversary showcasing the best of food, entertainment and culture from around the world.

Join us as we welcome the world, right in your own backyard with 30 exciting cultures hosted in 10 locations throughout the City of Mississauga. Carassauga is famous for its ethnic foods, vibrant performances and cultural exhibits that we have come to love since 1986.

The proof is in the numbers, in 2019 the festival attracted more than 350,000 visits, over 5,000 volunteers, chefs, artisans and entertainers (local and international) for this world tour.

New this year, Taste the world! Join us as we celebrate a mosaic of food with live chef demos, food sampling and our ever popular Toonie Taste. Collect recipe cards from our countries and create your very own multicultural cookbook.

Kids will have an exciting time this year at the Kid’s Zone with fun activities, midway rides, games and more for the whole family.

This year Carassauga presents its opening ceremonies on the outdoor stage, Friday May 22nd, honoring milestone and founding countries, cultural performances, special headline act and for the first time ever a firework show to celebrate our anniversary.
