Along with dance and her newfound love of real estate, Emma has a strong passion for fashion and hosting. With aspirations to one day release a line of high-end blazers, Emma takes every opportunity to explore new sides of fashion and loves the idea of a smart, sharp blazer for women that can make them feel empowered in any situation. With years of experience on television and in theatre, Emma also has aspirations of hosting. Whether it be her own series/podcast or co-hosting segments and other programs, Emma’s bubbly personality and quick-wit make for the perfect future host.

Originally from Tamworth, Emma began dancing at the age of five. By ten, she had been introduced to Latin and ballroom dance and started to compete. Early in her career, Slater was featured in George Michael's music video for "Round Here", and at just sixteen years old, she toured the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates, and South Africa with the renowned production Simply Ballroom. Later that year, she and her partner won the 2005 British Under 21 Latin American Championship in Blackpool, England. Now representing England at all levels and ranked in the world's Top 20, Slater followed this success by winning the 2006 United Kingdom Under 21 Latin American Championships in Bournemouth, England, and by appearing in Strictly Come Dancing: South Africa.

When Emma isn’t busy rigorously practicing and training for DWTS, or working on building her real estate empire, she can be found spending time with her husband Sasha Farber. Emma also loves to stay in peak physical condition by of course dancing, regular workout routines that consist of a mix of various strengthening and stretching exercises, as well as yoga, pilates and hiking.
