“During these troubling times, when the world may feel a bit upside down, it is a joy to connect with our fans and spread some positivity, good vibes, and healing,” said Julian Marley. “I am proud to be the first artist to participate in this series to support our Ghetto Youths Foundation work with communities in need across the globe. Giving back is in our DNA.”

Pic Love Conversationswas created as a bi-monthly curated series, presented in partnership with Ghetto Youths International (@ghettoyouthsinternational) in order to close the gap on fundraising opportunities for Ghetto Youths Foundation during the pandemic. Due to the nearly total shutdown of live performance and fundraising events, 100% of Ghetto Youths Foundation’s planned 2020 fundraising events have been postponed. At the same time, the foundation’s work must continue – particularly the newly opened Cornerstone Learning Center in Trench Town, Jamaica which provides critical academic resources to youth from the Trench Town community, where Bob Marley was raised.

Every two weeks, a new artist from a roster of the very best, fan-favorite reggae and dancehall artists on the scene today will participate in a lively, unfiltered Zoom chat with 25 super fans. Each guest will have the opportunity to ask a question directly to the artist, who will Zoom in from his/her home or studio, providing an intimate glimpse into their private domain. As a special thank you, each guest will also be provided with a 50% discount code to purchase any of the Pic Lovecapsule collection of jewelry – necklaces and bracelets created from Stephen Marley’s signature heart-shaped guitar pic, and hand-dipped in solid gold.
