Coming off the broadcasts of the first exclusive interview granted by President Trump to a Spanish-language network and the first presidential Democratic debate of the cycle, Telemundo network dives into Decision 2020 elections coverage with the release of Noticias Telemundo’s “State of the Latino Vote Poll – One Year Out,” a comprehensive survey of 1,000 Hispanic registered voters nationwide.
“The 2020 elections kicked off on Noticias Telemundo with Trump’s exclusive interview and the first presidential debate,” said Patsy Loris, Senior Vice President for Elections 2020 and Special Projects. “Our main objective commissioning this poll exactly one year out is to prove to our community that Noticias Telemundo is committed to highlighting the needs of Latinos in the United States, to show that our vote is up for grabs and, most importantly, to empower them with the information they need to decide which candidate best represents them.”
The poll, produced in partnership with Mason-Dixon Polling & Strategy, measures vote intention and sentiment on multiple issues, shedding light on the current perceptions of the largest minority ethnic group to vote in 2020. Main findings include:
