Philadelphia Fine Art Fair (PFAF) presents highlights and a full list of programing for the inaugural edition. Held in the historic 23rd Street City Troop Armory, the first year of the fair will embrace the city’s history and passion for visual arts through a series of high caliber events, special exhibitions, and educational programs.

OPENING NIGHT + PRESS PREVIEW
VIP guests will have a first look at PFAF during the fair’s opening night preview on Thursday, April 4, 2019 from 6:00 - 10:00pm, co-hosted by artnet and Philadelphia Style. Cocktails and hors d’ouvres will be served.

EXHIBITION HIGHLIGHTS
PFAF presents galleries and artists from all around the world including Cuba, Latin America, Europe andUSA.

PFAF will present solo exhibitions and installations by contemporary artists, M.C. Escher, presented by Walker Fine Art, Craig Kraft, presented by Seraphin Gallery and David Datuna, presented by Giles Clement Gallery.

Rojas-Ford Fine Art presents a Latin American Masters Pavillion with works from mid-late 20th century painters, sculptors and printmakers from Latin America.

Meet and Greets will be held throughout the fair to introduce visitors to significant artists including David Datuna, Daniel Sprick, and Hunt Slonem.

SculptCare, in partnership with the Philadelphia Office of Arts, Culture and the Creative Economy, will host a curated art auction. All proceeds go to benefit the restoration and conservation of Philadelphia’s extraordinary public art collection with featured pieces by David Hockney, Larry Rivers, Sam Francis,and M.C. Escher.

OTHER HIGHLIGHTS
Renowned art collectors Mari and Peter Shaw will present the 2019 Art Collector of the Year Award to Cecily Sherman. Fair Director, Rick Friedman will present the 2019 Philadelphia Outstanding Artist Award to the late sculptor Dina Wind.

Twelve Gates Arts presents the Collectors Lounge which will be available for guests to sit and relax at the fair. There will also be an exhibition of works in the lounge and curated by Twelve Gates Arts for visitors to enjoy.

Panel Discussions on A Passion for Possession: Collectors on Collecting and The Real Scoop on Photorealism – Beyond Perception will feature panelists including legendary collector and galleristLouis K. Mesiel and Israeli-born, New York-based artist Yigal Ozeri.

Book Signings and Author Meet and Greets will be hosted by authors Mari Shaw, Suzanne Brooks Snider, and Rock Walker.

The documentary, A Conversation with Jamie Wyeth, will be screened and immediately followed by a Q+A with the filmmaker, Damon Sinclair. Run time: 60 minutes

Sponsored by Iatesta Imports, fine Italian wine tastings will be held in the Twelve Gates Arts Collectors Lounge throughout the fair.
