When a vein gets cut we apply pressure
To cease the bleeding and get the limb secure
Don’t cut our throats and destroy our vocal chords
Under the disguise of protection - home and abroad
A joyful day when representation gets a personality
If the hand that throws the rock owns the casualty
Without shame but be confident let it show
That it’s for the right thing they’ll deliver the blow

Do sweaty naked bodies exposed
Take on the views of a plucked rose?
When they entwine like a running pumpkin vine
Touching, seeking room to grab and climb
With unconditional love that is from the heart
How come the base of society won’t clear the path
The reckless battles of crabs in this barrel is shocking
In this close-knit society, greed and jealousy is blocking

If shame is in order and camouflage takes precedent
The appearance of under-handiness seems evident
As reaction is the road mostly traveled daily
To be proactive, display confidence and positivity
When the taste of freedom hits the airwaves
Silence shouts louder from the empty canyons it saves
People’s limbs are wound and tongues are plucked
In this Emerald Isle discontented sheep are flocked
