On February 15th, Sharissa Ryan modeled at the AMCONYC New York Fashion week event held at the penthouse of the Gansevoort Park Avenue hotel in New York City. In partnership with brands StylingOn, and Spector Events, the event was a pop-up shop for the trendsetting New York City fashion crowd, followed by a runway show which featured 10 emerging new designers. Sharissa strut the runway wearing four looks from designers La Bom Bon Bikinis, NAM, In The Black, and Christiana J Paul.

New York Fashion Week is a time when the who's who of the fashion world come out to showcase their work, network and of course have fun. The show was attended by fashion influencers and several reality TV stars Chrissy Monroe from Love & Hip Hop, Bruno from The Real World, Tabasum from Bravo’s “The Singles Project” and Lori Anne from Bravo’s “Game of Crowns.”
Sharissa decided to audition for the AMCONYC show because “this was a new and exciting opportunity for me to be part of and to help build the visibility of Montserrat in the fashion world.”
