2015 L.E.A.D. Summer Internship Program

OVERVIEW
State Street’s Leadership Empowerment Achievement Development (L.E.A.D.) Program, is a world-class summer internship designed to identify and develop top students who demonstrate superior academic achievement and leadership potential. The program is committed to providing rising sophomores with the foundation needed to become leaders of State Street. With three key focus areas including a structured training curriculum, the support of senior-level mentors, and exposure to an inclusive global perspective, we have created a direct pipeline for career advancement company-wide.
Key program features include industry knowledge, professional development, networking, and community outreach. This ten-week program includes a financial boot camp workshop, an environment sustainability case study and presentation, and a comprehensive overview of each business area.

QUALIFICATIONS
State Street considers many disciplines when hiring interns. We seek candidates who possess the following portfolio of skills:
• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program with a minimum 3.25 GPA
• Graduated from a Boston Public, Private or Parochial High School
• Rising Sophomore
• Demonstrated leadership skills
• Proven community service involvement
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work independently while also adopting a collaborative approach to achieving results and reaching successful outcomes
• Professionalism, dependability and trustworthiness
• Passionately interested in Finance, Accounting and/or Business
