Statement: Hon Premier Donaldson Romeo On Appointment Of Hon David Osborne As Minister Of Agriculture, Trade, Lands, Housing And The Environment

Hon Premier Donaldson Romeo wishes to inform the public that the Hon David Osborne has been appointed as the Minister of Agriculture, Trade, Lands, Housing and the Environment in accordance with 33(2) of the Montserrat Constitution Order 2010.

The Montserrat Constitution Order, gives the Premier the right to shuffle his cabinet.

As the Premier, it is my belief that in order for this Government to function more effectively, it has become necessary to appoint Honourable Osborne as Minister of Agriculture, Trade, Lands, Housing and the Environment, someone whom I believe will be able to better understand and cater to the needs of the people and the country at large.
