TORONTO, February 13, 2018 — The eight finalists are set for the inaugural Tuner Battlegrounds: AutoShow Edition in partnership with Performance Auto & Sound (PASMAG) magazine at the 2018 Canadian International AutoShow, Feb. 16-25.

Starting with a field of 34 entries, two rounds of online voting have narrowed the field of competitors down to the final eight, all of whom will have their cars on display at the Show.

The online competition, which has been running for the past five years and has attracted entrants from all over Canada and the U.S., features modified cars that battle for tuner supremacy in a bracket-style competition where the car with the most votes moves on to the next round.

There’s a lot on the line for the eight finalists in the AutoShow Edition. Not only is there a $5,000 cash award for the champion, a first for the competition, along with an exclusive print feature in the pages of PASMAG, but there are also great giveaways for all competitors.

Silverwax, an official sponsor of the event, is giving each competitor a package valued at $150, and the champion will take home an additional package worth $300.

“Our Annual Championship has been taking the top finalists to the SEMA show in Las Vegas for five years now, and we’re thrilled to be able to bring it home to Canada with this special edition. The AutoShow is the perfect venue to celebrate and reward the best builds from the burgeoning tuner community,” said Performance Auto & Sound (PASMAG) Publisher Tim Rutledge.

Here are the eight finalists with their names and hometowns, along with the make and model of their cars:
