The Montserrat Tourism Accommodation Growth Fund has been launched.
According to information coming out of the Tourism Division from the Office of the Premier on Montserrat, the fund totals an amount of EC$500,000; with the aim being to improve and expand the tourism accommodation sector on Montserrat.
The Fund will be accessible from October 27, 2015 to 31 December 2015 or until the funds are exhausted.
It is understood that the Tourism Accommodation Growth Fund "is open to individuals and businesses seeking to deliver projects from a minimum of EC$20,000 up to a maximum of EC $200,000 per applicant. Bids must be able to demonstrate why Government support is needed."
Each applicant is expected to be assessed on their own merit, and against published criteria.
Technical support will also be made available to assist those who require assistance with the development of their applications.
