There's a big idea inside of us all. If you haven't, it's time to discover the genius idea inside of you. It's time to figure out how to share it with others and inspire positive forward movement. Just thinking about it doesn't help anyone; simply having a desire isn't enough. Our desires must be fueled, nurtured, developed and shared in order for us to be truly happy and make a difference. Executing our wildest dreams allows us to live life to the fullest and live life with passion.

We often think we have nothing to contribute. However, what we withhold is exactly what our families, our communities, and the world needs. What they need is exactly what each of us has offer. What they need is that big idea that has been sitting around in the mind for months, perhaps even years. Individuals making the most of life are normally those who are bold enough to pursue their visions. If you lack motivation, consider the following factors that might be holding you back:

Fear

Fear is the ultimate roadblock. Fear offers no detours or alternatives, but always leads to a dead-end. Fear hangs around words and phrases that are negative, offer no options, blame, or foster feelings of victimization. Well, the great thing about living in the 21st Century is that all things are possible; we already have all we need to do whatever is required of us.

Excuses

Fears are fueled by excuses. The more excuses we formulate, the bigger the fear appears. As we feed our fears, tasks seem more challenging than they really are and impossible to accomplish. If we remove all the excuses and attack life, we would be amazed as to what we can achieve. If fear is the ultimate roadblock, excuses are the signs that lead us there.

Over spiritualizing

Sometimes we pursue and fail over and over again. Some of us might decide that God did not ordain this particular pursuit. In some cases, this might be true. In other cases, we quit and abandon ship prematurely. Successive failures might prevent us from trying new avenues and force us into comfort zones. Failure shouldn't be viewed as a sign to abandon our dreams. It should be viewed as an invitation to re-evaluate and re-design the plan. Sometimes a little adjustment is all we need to get back on track.

Negative thought process

The older we get the more limits we put on ourselves. We limit ourselves by limiting our network and the number of people we meet, by refusing to educate ourselves, by consulting with the wrong individuals, and by reinforcing negative thoughts. For many of us, time and resources are non-issues. The real problem is our mindset, how we view ourselves, and our refusal to utilize our capabilities and exhaust our options.

Too many of us underestimate what we have to offer. We don't have to change the world. As long as we're influencing our corner of it in a positive way, that's all that matters.
