Worth An Estimated US$20.3 Million, Usain Bolt Is the 63rd Highest Paid Athlete Globally

With a net worth of US$20.3 million, Olympic champion, Usain Bolt, is the 63rd highest paid athlete in the world according to Forbes Magazine top list of The World's 100 Highest- Paid Athletes.

The majority of Bolt's wealth has been acquired through endorsements deals and sponsorship bonuses. In 2010 he signed a huge contract deal with German sportswear maker Puma for a reported $30 million.

According to Forbes, Bolt only made $300,000 in salary or prize money from being an athlete.

Just recently Bolt was given a Swiss watch named in his honour, featuring his likeness. The watch which is called the Hublot King Power Usain Bolt was developed with the help of Usain.

"It's perfectly natural to be associated with the fastest man, not just on the planet, but the fastest since the Big Bang," said Jean-Claude Biver, Hublot chairman.

Bolt's silhouette pose is located at 9 o'clock in the center of the watch's small seconds counter.

The 48 mm-diameter watch, in micro-blasted ceramic, is predominantly black, with gold"ÔøΩBolt's personal color and that of his lucky running shoes. The strap is made from exactly the same gold-colored synthetic leather as his shoes. This is stitched on to Hublot's signature black rubber strap.
